London Orchestrations includes a huge range of musical charts covering many different artists, composers, arrangers and musical styles from the 1930s to the present day, arranged by Dave Tanner. The catalogue features authentic arrangements of chart hits past and present; big band instrumentals and big band vocals; concert orchestra standards; medleys; instrumentals together with wind and brass band arrangements.
Please note -
* we have updated our list of London Orchestrations charts and withdrawn older arrangements.
* London Orchestrations are PRINTED TO ORDER, hence the 3-4 day preparation time.
* we do not deliver charts electronically as pdfs via email or as downloads, as this is not covered in publisher copyrights.
* we do not sell backing tracks for any of the London Orchestrations music.
We also regret that due to copyright restrictions we are unable to supply London Orchestrations to customers in Australia, Canada, Mexico, Puerto Rico and the United States at this time.
FORMATS
Each arrangement in the Big Band Vocals, Chart Hits, Instrumentals, and Medleys department is available in the following formats:
Small Band: LOxxxxJ - Vocals 4 Rhythm & 4 Front Line (i.e. 2 saxes, trumpet, trombone)
Big Band: LOxxxxK - Vocals & Full Band (i.e. 4 trumpets, 3 or 4 trombones, 5 saxes…)
Additionally, some charts are available arranged specifically for Concert Orchestra, Brass Band and Wind Band (Concert Band).
Concert Orchestra: LOxxxxL - (i.e. Full Band plus String and Woodwind parts… see below for Instrumentation)
Brass Band, Wind Band: LOxxxx - (22 or 34 piece ensembles respectively... see below for Instrumentation)
KEYS
All charts are supplied in the stated key. We do not have the facility to customise parts to keys. If you are a vocalist and need information about voice range, please refer to the Vocalist Range Chart.

Big Band Vocals
These are arrangements of popular songs associated with famous vocalists from the Big Band era to the present day – as recorded by artists such as Frank Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald, Nat “King” Cole, Dinah Washington, Harry Connick Jr, Dean Martin, Michael Buble, Diana Krall and more. The arrangements are accurate and faithful transcriptions of the original Big Band recordings. Some of the Small Band arrangements have been specially adapted from the big band versions.
Scores
Please note - some of the charts (in particular the new arrangements) include conductor scores, the majority have double piano parts with cues provided.
Chart Hits
Pop and rock hits from the 1960s to the 1990s.
The arrangements are accurate and faithful transcriptions of original recordings that have been adapted to include instrumentation found in conventional small groups, combos and stage bands.

Please note - no scores are provided with either Big or Small Band Chart Hit arrangements.
Instrumentals
Instrumental arrangements of popular tunes from the Big Band era to the present day.
The arrangements are accurate and faithful transcriptions of original recordings that have been adapted to include instrumentation found in conventional small groups, combos and stage bands. Titles marked '(Instrumental/Vocals)' may be performed with or without vocals.

Brass Band
These are professional level brass band charts arranged with 22 individual parts plus Full Score written for:
Soprano Cornet, 2 Solo Cornet, 1 Repiano Cornet, 1 2nd & 1 3rd Cornet; 1 Flugel Horn, 1 Solo Horn; 1 1st & 1 2nd Horn; 1 1st & 1 2nd Baritone; 1 1st & 1 2nd Trombone, 1 Bass Trombone; 2 Euphonium; 2 Eb Bass, 2 Bb Bass; 1 Drums, 1 Percussion.
There are no vocals included with these charts.

Wind Band (Concert Band)
These are professional level wind band (concert band) charts arranged with 34 individual parts plus Full Score written for:
2 Flutes, 1 Oboe, 1 Bassoon; 1 Eb Clarinet, 1 1st to 3rd Bb Clarinet, 1 Bass Clarinet; 2 Altos, 2 Tenors, 1 Baritone Saxophones; 1 1st to 4th Horns; 1 Euphonium; 1 1st to 4th Trumpets; 1 1st to 3rd Trombones; 2 Basses; 1 1st & 2nd Percussion; 1 Drums, 1 Keyboard, 1 Bass Guitar, 1 Guitar.
There are no vocals included with these charts.

Medleys
Titles in this section of the catalogue include popular vocal and instrumental hits from the 1930’s to the 1980's in MEDLEY form.
Many of the arrangements are accurate and faithful transcriptions of original recordings that have been adapted to include instrumentation found in conventional small, big, brass and wind (concert) bands. Titles marked '(Instrumental/Vocals)' may be performed with or without vocals.

Concert Orchestra
The Concert Orchestra Series is designed for bandleaders wanting to add that authentic big band with strings sound to their repertoire, including additional percussion and brass instruments (see below for the list of possible instrumentation).
Many of these titles were commissioned for the major new British “Rat Pack” musical starring Louis Hoover as Frank Sinatra, Peter Straker as Sammy Davis Jr, and Michael Howe as Dean Martin.
All concert orchestra arrangements are sold as complete sets in one format only.
PLEASE NOTE: All titles listed in the Concert Orchestra department are also available as Big Band Vocals in both Small and Big Band formats.
