UK Sales Tax (VAT 17.5%)
Most of the products we sell (including books, play along books and cds, big band charts) are zero-rated for VAT, which means they contain no VAT. A few products that are VATable include performance DVDs, accessories such as tuners, and all software.
All prices shown include VAT where applicable.
For customers outside of the UK and EU countries who purchase vatable items, VAT will be automatically removed from item prices before the total is calculated and payment is made. VAT is not removed from delivery charges as the service occurs within the UK.
Secure Server
For added security the Jazzwise server is SSL encrypted and certified by Thawte®. A date stamped Thawte® certificate appears above your shopping cart each time you log in and whenever you view a secure page on our website. The website address also changes to https//: indictating a secure connection to the servers.
Secure Online Payments
All card payments are processed securely by Sage Pay®, who also process Paypal® transactions. All transactions are PCI compliant and secure. Jazzwise does not hold or record your card details as a result.
Credit card payments secured by Sage Pay
All card transactions via Sage Pay undergo CV2 and AVS checks. AVS stands for Address Verification Service and CV2 is the 3 or 4 digit security code found on most cards.
Please note: to pay by Sage Pay you have to set up a 'Billing Address' which should match your card's billing address. You can do this by logging into your Account, checking the entries in your Address Book and ticking the "Set as Billing address" check box next to your Billing Address, before saving.
Paypal
You don't need a Paypal account to make a card payment via paypal. You can use Paypal to make a one off card payment, and then choose to create an account later if you wish. You can also use Amex if you pay by Paypal. It is also possible to forward Summer School balance payments to us via Paypal to paypal at jazzwise dot com.
