Brotherhood Of Breath Play 100 Club On Wednesday 20 November

One of the great heritage ensembles, Brotherhood of Breath, founded by the late Chris McGregor, performs as part of the EFG London Jazz Festival on Wednesday 20 November (moved from Friday 22 November) at the legendary 100 Club in Oxford Street, London. 

With a set-list comprising of McGregor compositions, as well as arrangements of works penned by his cohorts Ernest Mothle, Peter Segona and Dudu Pukwana, this big-band promises a potent brew of South African township music, Afro-beat and Duke Ellington, with a quality of musicianship unleashed in paroxysms of raw intensity.
