Decca Records – home to the likes of Gregory Porter and Jamie Cullum – has revealed details of an online auction for their dedicated Decca Bursary, which supports young artists in overcoming barriers they may face when entering the classical world.

The event will take place on the 6 July at 4pm BST, in association with Omega Auctions, and boasts an array of impressive, bespoke lots that have been generously donated by friends and artists alike. Also, home to a solid reputation of artist-centric excellence, prizes will include a virtual coffee with Gregory Porter, a Blue Planet II original score from Hans Zimmer, VIP tickets to meet legend Andrea Bocelli and the opportunity to be a fly on a wall at one of Saxophonist Jess Gillam’s recordings.

VINYL CUTTING SESSION AT ABBEY ROAD STUDIOS:

Witness your track being cut to a 12” lacquer at the legendary Abbey Road Studios! Walk the halls of Abbey Road, the birthplace to some of the world’s most iconic recordings.

GREGORY PORTER HANG:

Meet one of the world’s greatest voices for an intimate one-to-one conversation and hang out with Gregory Porter. The 30-minute meet will take place via Zoom.

RECORDING SESSION AT UNIVERSAL MUSIC STUDIOS, LONDON:

Spend a day in the shoes of legends, recording in Universal Music’s own in-house studios, The Engine Room, at the King’s Cross office.

ONE TO ONE MIXING MASTERCLASS AT UNIVERSAL MUSIC STUDIOS, LONDON:

Production manager Marc Lazarus at Universal Music’s own in-house music studio The Engine Rooms will spend 3 hours working with you to hone your skills.
