Resonance Records discovery of a previously unreleased, immaculately recorded studio album by piano giant Bill Evans from 1968 is set to be one of the archival finds of the year.
Brian Priestley speaks with Jack DeJohnette and Eddie Gomez, who both performed with Evans in one of his most short-lived trios on Some Other Time: The Lost Session from the Black Forest, and finds out what it was like to play with one of jazz’s premier pianists at this transitional time in his career
