Thirteen years after they first appeared on the UK scene with their rabid, hard-skronking take on the music of Zappa and Zorn, Led Bib were thinking about throwing in the towel.
Yet, reconvening to record in Vienna at the start of 2016 reignited all the kinship and passion that first fired the band, resulting in their most impassioned album to date, Umbrella Weather. Whipping up a suitably torrential whirl of sound to match the chaos and confusion of the current times, drummer Mark Holub, bassist Liran Donin and saxophonist Chris Williams spoke to Nick Hasted about the band's desire to re-join the fray
