The Italian pianist announces a UK tour to accompany the debut release of his 2024 album Above The Clouds on vinyl – and issues a new single

Following the success of his 2024 album Above The Clouds, Italian pianist, vocalist and composer Ilario Ferrari presents a series of singles and videos ahead of a series of UK tour dates (mostly in record stores!), to celebrate the official vinyl release of that album next month.
The first single, 'Leah Meets Laika (Live Version)', was recorded by the trio during album launch concert at London venue World Heart Beat and features soprano Mara Ashton, with chorus from the children’s choir at St John’s Church, Watford. A video of the tune can be viewed below.
Above The Clouds will be issued on vinyl for the first time on 6 June. Ferrari is accompanied by two well-known collaborators and rising jazz stars: drummer Katie Patterson and bassist Charlie Pyne, who recently released her album Nature Is A Mother, (featuring Patterson on drums), which was warmly received by media and fans alike.
