Branford Marsalis To Release New Album

Braggtown, the latest album by the Branford Marsalis Quartet is set for a release on 11 September.

Its title is taken from a district in the saxophonist’s hometown of Durham, North Carolina. Produced by Branford and released on Marsalis Music through Universal the tracks are ‘Jack Baker’, ‘Hope’, ‘Fate’, ‘Blakzilla’, ‘O Solitude’, ‘Sir Roderick, the Aloof’ and ‘Black Elk Speaks’. The group remains the same, Branford Marsalis with pianist Joey Calderazzo, bassist Eric Revis and drummer Jeff “Tain” Watts.
