Manchester’s charity-run independent music venue Band on the Wall is set to release a new 10-track album, Live from Band on the Wall, on 23 October. The fundraiser compilation features exclusive live tracks recorded at the venue from artists such as Bugge Wesseltoft, and multi-Grammy winners Gregory Porter and Snarky Puppy among others.

All proceeds from sales will be split 50/50 between Band on the Wall and the artists whose songs were all performed at Band on the Wall and were contributed by the artists for this CD.

This is the second release on Band on the Wall’s new in-house imprint, Band on the Wall Recordings and follows the release of last month’s 2020 – a fundraiser compilation to support emerging Manchester artists.

Tracks are: Gregory Porter ‘On My Way To Harlem’, Jazzanova ‘Boom Clicky Boom Klack’, Dele Sosimi ‘Lady’, Charles Bradley ‘I Believe in Your Love’, Kirsty Almeida ‘Cool Down Rewind’, Azymuth ‘Club Morocco’, Snarky Puppy ‘Strawman’, Yellowjackets ‘Why Is It’, Hafdis Huld ‘Oldest Friend’ and Bugge Wesseltoft ‘Singing’.
