Chris Barber and John Etheridge For Nantwich Jazz, Blues and Music Festival

The Big Chris Barber Band and John Etheridge are among the artists booked for the Nantwich Jazz, Blues and Music Festival in Cheshire next month, taking place at venues across the town over the long Easter weekend from 20-24 March. The organisers are hoping to attract some 40,000 visitors. Venues include the Nantwich Civic Hall, Crown Hotel, the Bowling Green pub, Harrison’s Wine Bar, the Nantwich Museum, town library and McCormick’s café.
Festival director, Phil Martin, owner of the Crown Hotel in Nantwich, said: “The 2008 festival line up is one of the strongest ever and we want to keep any trouble-makers at bay. We have been trying to get Chris Barber (pictured) here for many years but unfortunately he has always been unavailable at Easter.”
