Croker, Colman And Garland Tune Into Turner Sims

Southampton’s Turner Sims has announced its Spring 2020 season, with a number of jazz performances set among the assorted highlights.

Look out for forthcoming dates from hypnotic Mercury-nominated minimalists Portico Quartet (29 Feb); Theo Croker’s Star People Nation project (20 March); British jazz new-wavers SEED Ensemble (4 April); Southampton Youth Jazz Orchestra, with star saxophonist Tim Garland (18 April); The Dime Notes’ salute to 1920s melodies (31 May); singer Sara Colman’s tribute to Joni Mitchell (11 June) and a 20th anniversary celebration from super-troupe Acoustic Triangle (20 June).
