John Zorn and Regina Carter win “Genius” award US saxophonist John Zorn and violinist Regina Carter are among the 25 new fellows awarded by the MacArthur Foundation and will each receive $500,000. This year’s crop includes journalists, a deep-sea explorer, physicians, teachers, a cosmologist and a sculptor.
