A new exhibition of paintings, entitled Where is the Sun?, by the pioneering jazz bassist, producer and artist, Peter Ind, who died last August age 93, is being held at The Grange Gallery in Rottingdean, East Sussex from 2-27 February.

This will be the third exhibition of Ind's artwork at The Grange, close to where he lived, and focuses on the role of the sun in his landscape works, many painted in the en plein air style, as shown below.

In addition to his paintings there will be workshops for both adults and children: 15-17 February, Drawing the Sun taught by Amanda Rosenstein Davidson with Peter Ind's wife Sue Jones and 16 February, Sun, Moon and Tides with Sarah Wilkinson and Sue Jones.

An open Invite view will take place on 12 February with buffet, drinks and live jazz by local name musicians.
