UK based imprint Whirlwind Recordings have a swirl of delicious discs planned for the New Year, beginning on 29 January with Mell’s Bells, the latest album from ebullient saxophonist Sam Crockatt and his quartet featuring Kit Downes (piano), Oli Hayhurst (double bass) and James Maddren (drums).
