The revered free jazz saxophonist and his young trio present a full live performance along with an insightful interview with Dunmall
This beautifully shot video presents a full length recording of a trio led by Paul Dunmall and featuring two young players from the Birmingham scene: bassist James Owston and drummer Tymoteusz Jozwiak (originally from Poland, but studied here).
There are five tracks all about 10 minutes long with Paul playing tenor sax on the first two, alto on the third, C-Melody sax on the fourth and flute on the final. In between these Paul talks about the music and its inspirations.
