Saxophonist and singer Kim Cypher returns with her new album, Catching Moments, which is due for release on 4 October. Ahead of that she shares an all acoustic track, 'Where Time Goes', which is a stripped back duo piece, featuring Cypher on tenor saxophone and vocals alongside renowned acoustic guitarist Antonio Forcione. The track will be previewed at her concert on 16 June at Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club, London.

Composing this highly personal piece during a time of grief and vulnerability on the one year anniversary of the death of her dear dad in 2022, the track and video reflect the loss of the concept of time during that one year period, as “each day passed by in a blur”. The composition also “expresses the importance of cherishing those we love with reflection on memories of special times shared together”.

The video, filmed at Monknash Beach in South Wales was filmed and directed by Tim Mountain of Evenlode Films in Cheltenham, the first of two films as part of a collaboration and from these two Cheltenham based creatives. The audio re-mix for the video was produced by Tim Mountain, with audio recorded live at JJLV Audio Production by sound engineer Juanjo Lopez Vidal.
