The award-winning Leeds-based collective share a live acoustic take on their new single ‘Where Did I Go’
The Leeds jazz scene has always had a reputation for producing a diverse and exciting range of bands that push the music into new areas, and Yaatri, formed in 2018, continue that envelope-pushing pedigree.
Led by guitarist Liam Narain DeTar and featuring Bethany Herrington of B-Ahwe on vocals the rest of the line-up includes pianist Felix Bertulis-Webb, drummer/ percussionist Jona Tromp and double bassist Joe Wilkes. Combining crystalline Scandinavian jazz and pop sounds, with traditional Indian music and alt.rock, their debut album Lucid is set for release on 18 February 2022 and here they share an intimate acoustic version of their single ‘Where Did I Go’.
