World Service Project kick off UK tour For King And Country (2)

Madcap conjurors of kinetic chaos World Service Project embark on a UK tour, which kicks off tomorrow in York, in support of their new album on RareNoiseRecords, For King And Country.

Led by Dave Morecroft on keys/vocals and compositions, the band also features saxophonist Tim Ower, trombonist Raphael Clarkson, bassist Arthur O'Hara and drummer Harry Pope.
Expect punkish jazz psychosis aplenty and crunching riffage on the following dates: City Screen Basement Bar, York (14 Apr); The Sage, Gateshead International Jazz Festival (15 Apr); Brudenell Social Club, Leeds (18 Apr); Cafe.Bar Contemporary, Nottingham (20 Apr); Jazzlines, The Hare & Hounds, Birmingham (5 May); Kings Place, London (6 May); Number 39, Darwen (8 May); The Wonder Inn, Manchester (9 May); Restless Natives Festival, Glasgow (10 May); The Jazz Bar, Edinburgh (11 May); Dempsey’s, Cardiff (18 May) and The Canteen, Bristol (19 May).
