David Sanborn and Wynton Marsalis Confirmed For Barbican Summer Jazz Series

David Sanborn is the first off the blocks on 2 July followed on 8 July by Medeski, Martin and Wood revisiting their album Zaebos from last year, based on arrangements of John Zorn compositions. Nina Simone is remembered in a special concert on 16 July by Dianne Reeves, Lizz Wright, Angelique Kidjo and Simone, Nina’s daughter, and then a week later on 24 July Wynton Marsalis and the Lincoln Center Jazz Orchestra return to the Barbican.
