John Surman scoops Ivor Novello Jazz Award

Brit-jazz sax great John Surman has won the Ivors Jazz Award this year – in only the second time the award has ever been presented since the composing honours were first created by British Academy Of Songwriters Composers & Authors (BASCA) in 1956.
