Following his busy 2023, that saw his Dream Band triple live LP garnering rave reviews and feature the cream of the UK jazz scene, saxophonist Alex Hitchcock continues to develop this project with a series of European and UK dates with a brand new line-up.

The only London performance, on 13 March at Pizza Express Jazz Club, Soho, of his nine-date Spring tour features new stars of the New York jazz scene in trumpeter Dave Adewumi (Jason Moran, Ingrid Jensen), pianist Lex Korten (Melissa Aldana, Tyshawn Sorey) and drummer JK Kim (Aaron Parks, Dayna Stephens), as well as the acclaimed UK-based bass virtuoso Orlando Le Fleming (Jeff Tain Watts, Mark Guiliana).

Hitchcock is an immediately distinctive improviser and a leading voice on the saxophone in the UK. An Ivor Novello-nominated composer, his innovative collaborations have confirmed his growing international reputation as an instigator and catalyst for captivating musical encounters that continually push the envelope a little further.

Tour dates are: UnTUBO, Siena (7 March); Jazz Club Ferrara (8 March); Fasching, Stockholm (10 March); ZWE Jazz Bar, Vienna (11 March); Jamboree, Barcelona (12 March); Pizza Express, London (13 March); Aberdeen Jazz Festival (14 March); Bimhuis, Amsterdam (15 March) and Paradox, Tilburg (16 March).
